Where do I start?... I am a single child. Born in NYC, Long Island. Raised in Venezuela since I was 5 years old. Growing up in a bilingual family. Venezuelan parents, on my mothers side they are all Venezuelan. On my fatherβs side, French grandfather, Russian grandmother.
Since I was a boy I always found it easy to socialize. Giving me a lot of friendships throughout the years. I like people. I like being around people. On an average day I would sit outside in the nearest plaza and watch people go by. So I would sit and see details that other people may not notice or care to see. It is very entertaining.
I am not a religious person. I was raised religious and given the option to decide if I wanted to continue that route and I preferred to explore more. I respect religion. I respect the beliefs of everyone, doesnβt matter where they come from or in what they believe in. The important part is understanding their beliefs.
I love debating. I love learning. Knowledge is so important, every time I have a chance to learn something I will take it. Comprehending how things work is very interesting for me. Doesnβt matter if its not in my field, culture or religion. Every time you comprehend something its like putting a new piece of this huge puzzle. You start seeing a bigger picture of life that way.
Donβt like being in a box. Donβt like being closed minded. Donβt like restrains. I am ok with rules if they apply correctly. But mainly I try to always have my mind in zero. In Blank. No expectations, no concerns, no judgment. Of course I am human after all and I tend to be stubborn at times, but I confront myself and understand quickly where I am failing. And that is very important to me. I have been raised with this mentality; I have been tough this way as I work. If you donβt realize your mistakes and where you fall then what is the point of learning?
Mistakes are very important to me. This is where I learn. Good or bad, but I learn.
Lets go a little more specific with me.
My favorite color is blue. As a graphic designer I have studied sociology of color, and when I learned complementary colors I fell in love with the combinations. The sociology side of it, and its effects.
I love animals. I have a dog, he is a Bull Terrier called βCasiqueβ (Casique = Chieftain) He is the perfect example of who I am in a Dog version haha. We are the same person.
I am a very open person. You can ask me anything and I can reply with total confidence. Communication for me is key! And it's very contradicting because in my personal life I am not communicative at all haha so that is one of my big flaws. But hopefully that is something that I can fix soon. This is a new stone that I stumbled upon recently.
I am a happy person. Try to always have a smile on my face. Because if not what is the point of all this? I am a very real person, donβt like to live in a fantasy world. Donβt like to believe in things that are not there. I can understand situations and comprehend topics. But why if you only have one chance to live, decide to live it miserable? So thatβs why I try my best to smile, try my best to be happy, try my best to be a great friend, great co-worker, and family member. Because it will make my life, and everyoneβs around me better. If we just try our best and smile.
I think that is enough for now, we can continue this another time.
Best regards.
